SC / ST Welfare Committee
Regarding Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, the UGC, State Governments, and the Government of India all have policies and programs that must be implemented effectively, which is ensured by the SC/ST Welfare Committee. It also makes recommendations for how to accomplish the goals set forth by the different government departments. The decisions made by the Committee, which meets at least twice a year, must be carried out. The Principal of GVR&SCET serves as the Committee’s chairman.
Objectives
- To achieve parity between the SC/ST student body and the general student body.
- To establish a forum where students may voice issues with both academic and non-academic issues.
- To keep an eye on how the institution’s reservation policy is being applied.
